PHIL JACKSON
Fishn Logue 23 January 2004
Phil Jackson...what a star...a
fly fishn ledgend in
South East Queensland. When Phil heard we were taking
"the hatch" (Grant Hatcher) out fishn for Cobia he
couldn't
resist the challenge.
Two of Australias Fly Fishn greats out with Reel Fishing on
the one day. (Sorry...three including Cath)
After Grant landed the first Cobia for the day,
Phil applied some unique jigging skills with a 300g jig
to "match the hatch". His efforts paid off nailing
another
cobia for the day

DEREK ROLLS
Fishn Logue 23 January 2004
Just when you though it was safe
to go out into the water
along comes New Zealands Blue Water Game Fishn Ace
and Dive Specialist.
Derek usually free dives to depths of 70 ft back home in NZ,
in icy water temperatures to spear his trophies.
But this time he took on Grant Hatcher and Phil Jackson to
rival them at their own game.
Another Cobia in the boat thanks to Derek and another
all time fishn great to sign the guest book on board
Reel Fishn!
Being from New Zealand, the though of being away from
his favourite sheep BARRRRRBARRRA didn't bother him
too much either!
