LOCATION

Based in Tweed Heads on the Tweed River, we are centrally located
between Queensland and New South Wales.
Our fishing grounds range from the Queensland Gold Coast in the North
to Byron Bay, New South Wales in the South.
With a top speed of 30 knots we can reach our fishing grounds quicker
than most other Charters and cover a greater range of reefs, wrecks and hot spots -
all the way out to the 50 fathom markers.

Why charter from the Tweed River rather than the Gold Coast?
We are only 15 minutes drive south of the Queensland Gold Coast where there a
great number of other world class fishing charter operators and charter boats,
all first class fishing charter providers like ourselves. However, the majority of these Gold Coast
based charters are only licenced to fish in Queensland waters.
Therefore the southern Queensland fishing boundaries have a high density of fishing charter
activity which inturn can only unbalance the marine environment making fish harder to catch.
Alternatively, NSW Waterways have issued only several licences for Charter Fishing Operations
on the tweed.  By comparison, less boats, less advserse impact on the marine environment
and as a result, there seems to be more fish to catch.

To find us is not hard.
We depart (and return) from the wharf at the new Tweed Marina
If you are coming from Queensland or the Gold Coast -

1. Take the Pacific Highway South.
2. DO NOT turn off left to Tweed Heads on the first Tweed Heads turn off near the Airport.
3. Continue South until you see the turn off left to Kennedy Drive. Take this exit left.
4. Via left towards Tweed Heads at the Boyds Bay Bridge and follow the main road for about
a minute. Just after the bridge you will come to a set of traffic lights. Take the first right
just after these traffic lights into River Terrace. Our close up map will indicate the
direction more clearly. Follow River Terrace around a few hundred metres.
5. You can park your car in the car park.
6. Walk down onto the jetty and up to our boat for pick up.

Alternatively you can approach from the Coolangatta end,
past Twin Towns Services Club and the Tweed Mall,
then turn left into River Terrace at Mennities Seafood.
